Avecuf X

  • This syrup is used for chest congestion, chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).
  • During a common cold, the nasal mucus may start out watery and clear, then become progressively thicker and more opaque, Avekoud X syrup clears the mucus effectively and improves both day and night cough scores.
  • It has a cooling effect, thus reduces thermal sensation, pain and irritation. Selectively it dilates bronchi and improves breathing.

PRODUCT DETAILS

  • Avecuf X syrup contains Ambroxol hydrochloride, Guaiphenesin, Terbutaline sulphate and menthol.
  • Ambroxol hydrochloride and guaiphenesin is a mucolytic agent which reduces the thickness of the sputum.
  • It is used to treat conditions with the abnormal mucus secretion, allowing the patient to breathe freely and deeply.
  •  Terbutaline sulphate is used to treat wheezing and shortness of breath from lung problems.

COMPOSITION

Ambroxol hydrochloride 15mg

Menthol 2.5mg

Guaiphensin 50mg

Terbutaline sulphate 1.25mg
