  • Avesar-80 tablets contain Telmisartan, which is an anti-hypertensive drug. It is more effective than hydrochlorothiazide monotherapy at lowering blood pressure drugs.
  • Telmisartan works by blocking the effect of angiotensin II enzyme. Angiotensin II enzyme causes blood vessels to narrow, so by blocking this effect, Telmisartan allows your blood vessels to relax and widen and reduce the pressure on the blood vessel to protect the heart from harmful effects.
